SIM Workbench™ and Cav-Bal®PRO are developed by Moulding Optimisation Ltd, a UK-based injection moulding consultancy specialising in Scientific Injection Moulding, process optimisation, validation support and troubleshooting.
The software has been developed from practical moulding experience, with the aim of giving engineers better tools for process studies, reporting and cavity balance correction.

Traditional SIM studies are often recorded in Excel workbooks, copied from older templates or rebuilt from site to site. SIM Workbench™ gives engineers a more consistent workflow, with built-in study logic, graphing, data handling and reporting.

Cav-Bal®PRO includes proprietary hot runner cavity balancing technology that calculates tip temperature corrections from short-shot cavity weight data.
Instead of manually estimating hot runner adjustments, Cav-Bal®PRO helps engineers measure cavity imbalance, apply calculated corrections and record the improvement through each balancing profile.
